Every fall, the streets of Normal Heights come alive as tens of thousands of people gather for the Adams Avenue Street Fair. San Diego’s largest free two-day music festival is back this weekend for its 43rd year, on September 20–21, 2025. The fair will once again transform 10 blocks into a vibrant hub of music, food, and community fun.
What to expect at Adams Avenue Street Fair
With 75 musical acts spread across seven stages, there’s something for every taste – from rock and folk to blues and indie. However, this vibrant celebration is more than just the music. You can enjoy carnival rides, performances by the Fern Street Circus, and shop from over 300 local exhibitors featuring unique goods.
Of course, no San Diego festival is complete without great food and drinks. The fair hosts 3 beer gardens pouring craft brews from local favorites, plus featured cocktails from nearby distilleries. For those who like to plan ahead, VIP beer tickets are available for $21, and it’s good for 4 craft beers.
Family-friendly, energetic, and rooted in the local neighborhood, the Adams Avenue Street Fair has become a beloved San Diego tradition. Whether you’re coming for the live music, the food, or just the amazing vibes, this communityevent has a little something for everyone.
