Calling all Beatles fans!
The San Diego Beatles Fair is a musical experience no rock and roll fan can miss. This year’s festivities will take place in the Queen Bee’s Art & Cultural Center in North Park. The theme for the 2022 Beatles Fair is 1963, which is the year The Beatles, alongside Chris Montez and Tommy Roe, set off for their legendary UK tour. The 2022 Beatles Fair aims to capture the magic of this pivotal moment in music history with the help of special guests.
One of these extraordinary guests is the one and only Chris Montez. Montez is an incredibly talented musician who toured with the legendary group back in the 1960s! Some of his greatest tunes include “Let’s Dance,” “Some Kinda Fun,” “The More I See You,” “Call Me,” and “Time After Time.”
This amazing day of celebration will feature amazing performers like John Leo (a John Lennon tribute artist), True Stories, Porcelain Hill, and more! However, there will be so much more than just spectacular music. The author John Borack will give a talk about his new book, “The Beatles: 100 Pivotal Moments In Music History.”
Many fantastic vendors will also provide us all with all the Beatles-centered shopping we could ever hope for. There will also be fabulous memorabilia displays throughout the Queen Bee’s Art & Cultural Center to teach you more about the Fab Four. The festivities begin at noon and will last until 11 pm this Saturday. The tickets are priced at $25-$55. For more information, go to sandiegobeatlesfair.com
