San Diego’s very own Beer Week is back!
Mark your calendars because from November 5-14, this local beer celebration is in full swing, promoting San Diego’s thriving brewing culture! There will be multiple fun events to attend across the whole county during the 10-day festival and over 130 participating breweries!
The San Diego Brewers Guild is hosting San Diego Beer Week, which starts this Friday, November 5, with a Virtual Kick-Off Toast, which will take place at 7 pm. So prepare yourself your favorite local beer ready to celebrate the start of SD Beer Week through this virtual event.
For those who can attend an in-person event, prepare for a ton of fun at Beer Week’s outdoor opening party! There will be sampling and tastings of the best local craft beer, along with live music! There will also be tours at Thorn Brewing and ReBru Spirits in Barrio Logan to learn more about how your favorite beers are made.
On Sunday, November 7, starting at 1 pm, the anniversary party for Thorn Barrio Logan will begin. They will also be celebrating the release of a collaboration between Mujeres Brewhouse, Border X Brewing, and Ballast Point, appropriately called Infinito Amigos.
What could be better than beer during a sunny San Diego day? Well, how about beer ice cream! This delicious and refreshing treat is brought to you by Hannigan’s House Beer Co. and Creamery. This beer-centric shindig will also have art exhibits and a fabulous DJ setting the celebratory mood! If you need a lift, then take the convenient FREE shuttle at Ballast Point in Little Italy. It will be heading to Barrio Logan and rotating between Thorn, Mujeres, and Border X.
There are plenty more festive events during SD Beer Week, like “Best of North County Breweries” on Tuesday, November 9, and the grand opening of Chula Vista Brewery of Eastlake on Friday, November 12, at 1 pm.
