Good news for all those who love wine, art, and a jolly good time! The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival is making its way back to downtown La Jolla on October 11–12, 2025. This free event brings together amazing art, great wine, craft beer, spirits, and plenty of family fun.
What to expect La Jolla Art & Wine Festival

This 2-day festival features over 170 talented artists from the U.S. and Mexico, showing off everything from paintings and sculptures to jewelry, glasswork, ceramics, woodcrafts, and photography. Besides, here’s what else you’ll find:
- Dozens of regional and international wines, local San Diego craft beers, as well as handcrafted spirits. While the festival is free, you do need tickets for the wine & beer garden (+21), which start at $60 and include 6 tastings of drinks and food.
- At the wine & beer garden, you can enjoy local artists such as Josh Weinstein, Slack Key ‘Ohana, members of the San Diego Opera, and many more.
- A pet adoption event – come to the festival for the art and the wine, and leave with the newest member of your family. Participating organizations include Born Again Animal Rescue, Friends of Cats, Tragic to Magic, and many more.
- Great food, of course. You can check out delicious bites from Belinda’s Familia Taco Shop, Fusion Eats, Isola Pizza Bar, Mariposa Ice Cream, and so many other local legends.
- The Geppetto’s Toys Family Art Center, which hosts activities for the little ones, such as ballet dance for kids, face painting, arts & crafts, robotics, and more.
- A silent auction which raises tens of thousands of dollars to benefit underfunded programs at local public elementary, middle and high schools.
All for a good cause
Behind the scenes, the La Jolla Art & Wine Festival Foundation, a non-profit, uses the event to raise funds for local public schools. Every dollar supports vital programs like art, music, science, PE, tech, and school health services. Since it started, the festival has given back over $1.2 million, helping over 4,000 students in La Jolla.
