Kick off the holiday season at this street fair this weekend!
On Sunday, November 20, enjoy a full day of fun at the Encinitas Holiday Street Fair. The fair has been a popular family-friendly tradition dating since 1989, and it’s easy to see why. There will be tons of entertainment, like multiple children’s rides, stages with live music, and delicous food and drinks from local vendors. The fair will be on from 9 am to 4 pm, so make sure to be prepared for a full day of fall fun!
The beer garden will kick off with live music and drinks from local breweries and vendors at 12 pm! Popular local bands will be performing at The Lumberyard Courtyard, as well as other talented entertainers on the Community Stage next to Ace Hardware.
The event has something for everyone, like a designated Dog Zone where you can walk your furry friend and pick up special treats for your good boy or girl! There’s also a Kids Zone jampacked with thrilling activities, including arts and crafts stations.
This is an excellent opportunity for some early holiday shopping since many of the fantastic vendors will be selling their own one-of-a-kind pieces. There will be an abundance of options to choose from more than 450 vendors. Keep in mind that you need to bring your own shopping bags to carry all the goodies you pick up at the fair since merchants are no longer allowed to give out single-use plastic bags in Encinitas.
The street fair will take place on Coast Highway 101, between D and J Streets. And thanks to San Diego’s glorious weather, this is sure to be a beautiful fall Sunday to welcome the holiday season with family and friends!
