The island vibes are returning to San Diego! Holo Holo Music Festival, a top celebration of island and reggae music, is dropping anchor in San Diego on July 18, 2026, at Waterfront Park. Expect a mix of incredible performances, delicious food, and an unmatched sense of community.
What does Holo Holo mean?
In Hawaiian, holo holo translates to “to travel, to sail, to move.” It’s the perfect name for a festival that was born out of a love for reggae and island music – a genre deeply rooted in connection and movement.
The festival first launched in 2022 at Stanford University’s Frost Amphitheater. Fueled by the passion of the fans, it quickly expanded to Las Vegas and Sacramento in 2023, making its highly anticipated debut in San Diego in 2024.
For 2026, Holo Holo is taking its journey even further, bringing the music and the joy to Oceanside, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Tacoma, San Diego, Hawai’i, Irvine, and San Jose.
