This spectacular cafe is out of this world! No, literally! The Invigatorium is an East Village spot you have to try. Their fun and eclectic decor perfectly match their delicous coffee and food. This is a perfect option for breakfast and lunch for those who prefer our decor on the whimsical side. There is so much to look at that we wouldn’t blame you for being taken aback by all the details you’ll find here. They have a few dinosaur friends throughout, such as a life-sized Velociraptor and a Pterodactyl, who watches over his domain from above.
The San Diego beer brewing and coffee roasting company Modern Times takes its drinks seriously! They have brought their expertise along with a sense of whimsy and fun to this East Village spot. Patrons familiar with Modern Times’ original brewery will instantly recognize the fire-breathing dragon mural made entirely of Post-It notes.
We can’t think of a better spot to shake up your regular work or study session. Their coffee and food selection has something for everyone. If your feel like getting something yummy on the lighter side, we recommend their granola bowl, which can come with edible flowers and glitter! We also recommend their giant doughnuts, fluffy pancakes, and gigantic burritos.
However, if you swing by for a boozy lunch, you must try their natural wine and cocktails! One caffeinated cocktail we love is their liqueur-laden crema, which consists of Carajillo, Amaro-Vallet, Mr. Blacks Cold Brew Liqueur, Licor 43, and an Espresso. We did say they take their drinks seriously, didn’t we?
Other unique decor includes a life-sized Ronald McDonald casually sitting down at one of their tables. You’re more than welcome to join him for a picture or a whole meal. We hear he’s a great listener!
This luxury fun house is one of our new favorite spots because of its unique and relaxed vibe. We’re sure you’ll love whatever inventive drink you choose as you feast on their food selection and fabulous decor.
