California Craft Beer Week isn’t over yet!
Kilowatt Brewing is a small batch brewery in Kearny Mesa, Ocean Beach and Downtown Oceanside. It’s known for its ever-changing eclectic brews, made possible by small batch production. And this weekend, to celebrate the final hurrah of this year’s CA Craft Beer Week, Kilowatt is releasing two more special brews!
This Friday (February 19), brew-loving San Diegans can head to any of Kilowatt’s locations to pick up its new release, Hazezoose Hazy IPA with Buddha’s Hand Citron & Lemon Grass (6.9%). This thirst-quenching IPA is a remix of their classic Hazezoose Hazy IPA, made with Buddha’s Hand citron and lemongrass for a unique citrusy taste.
On Saturday, February 20, the brewery releases its craziest beer yet, which will be available at its Ocean Beach and Oceanside locations. The wild child of this year’s Beer Week releases, Red Wine BA Wild Botanical Ale, is a lambic-style barrel-aged bretted sour in French oak red wine barrels (6%). And it doesn’t stop there – Kilowatt also added in jasmine flowers, black goji berries and chrysanthemum for a botanical twist.
Although fans are not new to Kilowatt’s experimental brews, these new releases just sound way too good to miss. Plus, grabbing a beer at Kilowatt is about more than just good craft beer. Its taprooms are a total experience, with eclectic neon lighting and unique artwork filling the space. In fact, the brewery collaborates with local artists and makers to curate its one-of-a-kind atmosphere, making it a great place to get your fix of your favorite craft brews and appreciate local creatives!
Kilowatt’s new releases will go fast, so make sure to stop by before they’re gone!
