Calling all caffeine enthusiasts and coffee lovers! If your ideal weekend involves the aroma of freshly roasted beans, enjoying live music, and sipping endless cups of specialty coffee by the water…it’s time to mark your calendar. The 3rd Annual San Diego Coffee Festival is returning to the Broadway Pier on October 10 and 11. The city’s vibrant coffee culture comes together under one roof!
What to expect
Attendees can expect to explore an expertly curated lineup of the city’s top coffee roasters and specialty coffee shops. The best part? Unlimited coffee tastings are included with your ticket. You’ll have the chance to sample unique beans, discover new brewing techniques, and chat directly with the passionate roasters.
For those who prefer a different kind of steep, there will also be top-tier tea vendors. While food isn’t included in the ticket price, a fleet of local food trucks and snack vendors will be on-site. Throw in a backdrop of live entertainment featuring some great local musicians, and you have the perfect coffeehouse vibe – scaled up to festival proportions.
Ticket options and sessions for the San Diego Coffee Festival

To keep the coffee flowing and give the hardworking baristas a chance to reset, the festival is split into sessions. You can choose the ticket that best fits your stamina:
- General Admission (GA): Grants you standard entry to one of the main sessions (session 1: 10: AM – 1 PM or session 2: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM).
- Early Admission: Early Admission gets you in at 9 AM – a full hour before the GA crowds arrive -allowing you first dibs on tastings. Plus, you get to stay through the entire Session 1 GA block.
- VIP All Day Passes: A very limited number of All Day passes allow you to attend both sessions with in-and-out privileges. You’ll even get exclusive access to hang out inside the venue during the 30-minute service break between sessions while the roasters catch their breath.
Prices start at $25.
Know before you go
- Bring your own mug: Sustainability is always cool. You’re highly encouraged to bring your favorite reusable coffee mug from home.
- Leave the little ones at home: While kids under 13 get in free, event organizers strongly discourage bringing young children. With large crowds and hot beverages everywhere, it can be a risky environment for kids.
- Leave the pups at jome: Only certified service animals are permitted at the event.
- Not a coffee drinker? There are plenty of non-coffee options available, as well as great music and food to enjoy.
The San Diego Coffee Festival promises to be the ultimate caffeine-fueled experience! Tickets sell out fast, so be sure to secure yours before they’re gone. You can grab them at sandiegocoffeefest.com.
