The San Diego Made Holiday Market Is Postponed Until January, But You Can Still Shop Online

By Secret San Diego December 10, 2020

The annual tradition goes virtual until next week, and the physical market returns to San Diego at the end of January!

San Diego Made’s winter market is coming back to town, and we can’t wait. The holiday fair is massive and is definitely the place to go for the area’s best local goods and services.

In fact, the market is San Diego’s largest locally-curated market, providing creatives all over the county with a network and a platform to connect with their loyal customers. Not to mention providing the community with lots of holiday cheer!

The holiday favorite was originally scheduled for the weekend of December 12, but out of respect for the safety of both guests and vendors, organizers have decided to postpone the event. Instead, the San Diego Made Holiday Market will take place at the end of next month, on January 30 and 31. Organizers will provide more information about updated safety protocols closer to the event, so that guests and their families can enjoy this socially distant way to experience the season.

And this year, it’s free! The market will feature 60 or so vendors all selling beautifully handcrafted goods that make fantastic gifts. The event will be held outside, with plenty of holiday photo opportunities, and even a free raffle!

The market will take place at the Grossmont Center on January 30 – 31 from 10 am to 4pm. All you have to do to attend is register online so that you can be notified of any updates. Social distancing and masks will be required.

And don’t worry if you can’t make it to the market in the flesh. This year, San Diego Made is hosting a virtual fair on their website so that you can also shop from the comfort and safety of your own home! The virtual fair is available now through December 31, and offers some great perks like free shipping and exclusive discounts.

Whether you attend in person or prefer to shop online, the San Diego Made Holiday Market is the perfect way to support local while you celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!
