Outdoor dining is totally in right now and we’re not the ones to complain about it! Perfect for social distancing and a fun night (or day) out, patio dining is our favorite thing to do right now. That’s why we’ve come up with these beautiful patios to try out in San Diego right now for a wonderful socially-distanced meal outdoors.

1. Cannonball, Belmont Park
Cannonball’s 9,400 square feet is packed full with fireplaces and lounge seating set against some stunning ocean views. It’s great for cozying up and enjoy the view while diving (or rather cannonballing) into some incredible-looking sushi!

2. One Paseo, Del Mar
This beautiful outdoor space has plenty of dining options available. From North Italia‘s yummy Italian dishes to International Smoke‘s steak and seafood, One Paseo has something for everyone. Plus, once you’re done with your meal you can always throw in a little shopping!

3. Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar, Seaport Village
Not only does Puesto have one of the most beautiful outdoor dining spaces in Downtown San Diego, but it also has some of the best Mexican food in town! At Puesto’s headquarters, you’ll be able to enjoy a bit of everything from passionfruit and mango shrimp ceviche and, of course, some home-made tacos with blue corn tortillas all the way to some refreshing piña-melon and mango-limón flavored Agua Frescas.

4. Coasterra, Harbor Island
How about dinner with a view? Located in Harbor Island, Coasterra is another great option if you enjoy waterfront dining. In its patio, you’ll be able to enjoy some incredible Mexican fare while taking in the gorgeous views of San Diego’s skyline.

5. RustiCucina, Hillcrest
Rusticucina is home to a totally cute patio where you’ll be able to enjoy Executive chef Marco Provino’s top-notch Sicilian cuisine. This farm-to-neighborhood eatery offers a wide variety of Italian dishes including pizzas, flatbreads and home-made pasta. Plus, it’s dog friendly, so its perfect if you want to bring your pooch along when you’re dining out!

6. Giardino Neighborhood Cucina, Lemon Grove
At Giardino, you’ll be able to enjoy a mix of yummy modern and classic Italian dishes out in their lovely new patio, which comes complete with twinkling lights and some pretty greenery.

7. Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens, Liberty Station
Stone Brewery World is the largest craft brewery in the whole of San Diego but it’s also home to a totally relaxing and beautiful garden perfect for outdoor dining. The place is also a friendly spot for all–we mean…it’s a giant garden perfect for kids to run around and it also has 36 beers on tap for you to enjoy out in the open air and San Diego’s fine weather. The brewery also offers a wide array of comfort food dishes and international cuisine to pair with your drink, and if you’re not up for a beer, Stone Brewery also has a large wine list to choose your poison from.

8. Casa Guadalajara, Old Town
This restaurant’s bright and colorful patio might be one of the most beautiful ones we’ve seen in San Diego. Casa Guadalajara’s popular patio is perfect for an evening spent sipping on tangy and refreshing margaritas with your favorite Mexican dishes.

9. Blade 1936, Oceanside
If you’re looking for the real deal when it comes to pizza, then Blade 1936 is the place to go. Blade 1936 has been certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, so you know you’ll be eating authentic Neapolitan pizza when you visit this Oceanside restaurant. Plus, they have now converted a portion of their parking lot into a covered patio so you can enjoy your slice of ‘za al-fresco come rain or come shine.

10. Gravity Heights, Sorrento Valley
This awesome new brewpub in Sorrento Valley has a beautiful open-air patio that comes complete with fire pits and awesome giant games like Jenga and Connect Four. Gravity height offers a wide variety of drinks including kombucha, wine, cider and, of course, beer paired with some killer bar bites like dirty fries with pulled pork and sweet BBQ sauce, wood-fired pizzas, classic burgers and more!
