The free entrance offer will be valid starting October 1 until October 31.
The San Diego Zoo recently announced its “Kids Free” October plan is returning which means that for the entire month of October, all kids 11-years-old or younger can visit the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park for free.
The zoo is offering free entrance for all children 11 years and younger from October 1 to October 31. The offer is valid for one paying adult with up to five children. The zoo also added it would be hosting surprise activities every weekend throughout the month of October.
The San Diego Zoo and Safari Park reopened this past June with new health and safety measures that are still in place. Both zoos are asking all visitors to comply with the new regulations and to continue with the use of face coverings to avoid the spread of coronavirus. The zoos are still operating at reduced capacity and work on a first-come, first-served basis to comply with their daily reduced on-grounds attendance limits. Some attractions also remain closed during the zoos’ partial reopening.
For more information on the new regulations, you can take a look at the San Diego Zoo website here.
The San Diego zoo and the Safari Park are open every day from 9 am until 6 pm and recommend visitors book their tickets online ahead of their visit.
