San Diego has some new visitors in town!
For the next few weeks, SeaWorld is opening its doors to some very special guests for a one-of-a-kind drive-thru experience. At its first-ever Sesame Street Parade of Lights Drive-Thru event, guests can explore the theme park in a whole new way from the safety and comfort of their own cars.
Whether you’re looking for a safe activity for the whole family, or you’re just a huge Big Bird fan (who isn’t, really), this is definitely an event you don’t want to miss. Bop to the cheery tunes of the Sesame Street soundtrack as you roll through different areas of the park adorned with countless colorful lights. Bert and Ernie and the gang will be spread throughout the park on parade floats ready to greet visitors along the way, so be sure to wave!
In addition to the obvious stars of the show, the event features thousands of twinkling lights, including an illuminated SkyTower and two light tunnels. Visitors can also purchase tasty treats like hot chocolate, cotton candy and soft pretzels to munch on as you make your way through Sesame Street Village. Snack packs are also available for purchase, which include snacks and some extra perks like bubbles, souvenir cups and plush toys.
The Sesame Street Parade of Lights Drive-Thru runs on select days throughout February. Tickets must be purchased in advance and start at $49.99 per vehicle, with discounts for Pass Members (50% off) and Fun Card Holders (25% off). Face masks are required for visitors (aged 2 and up) at transaction points or if approached by a member of the staff.
