A wine festival in Solvang? Sign us up!
Celebrate the O.G Santa Barbara wine festival this Saturday in the picturesque Solvang, California! This town is beyond dreamy and is the perfect spot to get into the autumnal spirit.
We also couldn’t think of a better way of celebrating the passing of the seasons than at a wine festival! This is the 38th Vintners Festival, and they will have delicous wine from over 50 wineries for you to try! The festivities will include scrumptious delicacies, dozens of restaurants, chefs, and food producers. You’ll be able to meet the winemakers and winery owners and learn from them what makes Santa Barbara County such a fantastic region for wine!
This festival has many more unique features, such as its Bubble Lounge, a spot dedicated to sampling the region’s best sparkling while enjoying amazing live music! The event takes place at the gorgeous Old Mission Santa Inés from 1 pm to 4 pm.
The Old Mission Santa Inés has a long history; it was actually named after St. Agner of Rome. The Mission was initially a Franciscan order founded in 1804.
Its Solvang site was chosen as a midway between Mission Santa Barbara and Mission La Purísima Concepción. This piece of history was designated a National Historical Landmark and is currently a museum and parish and noted as one of the best-preserved of the 21 California missions!
