In sunny San Diego, strolling through the city with a refreshing iced drink is practically a lifestyle. We love our coffees, matchas, chais, and everything in between – and it looks like Taco Bell has taken notice. There’s a new café in town! And it’s not your average one.
New Taco Bell Live Más in San Diego

After a successful Chula Vista launch last year, Taco Bell continues to bring its bold concepts across SoCal. This month, San Diego is getting another brand new location, on September 16, 2025.
You can find it on 11688 Carmel Mtn Rdm, and it will be open daily from 7 AM to 2 AM, making it the perfect destination for your morning energy boost, and late night cravings.
Make sure not to miss the grand opening event, on Tuesday, September 16 from 3 PM. Expect fun games, swag, a DJ, giveaways and more surprises
This expansion, which includes this SD location, reflects the brand’s roots in the SoCal region as the home of Taco Bell’s biggest ideas.
About Taco Bell cafés

The Live Más Café concept is redefining Taco Bell as a café-inspired destination, with more than 20 made-to-order beverages crafted by ‘Bellristas’. The menu spans everything from beloved Refrescas to specialty coffees and signature drinks, such as Baja Blast and Churro Chillers. Don’t sleep on the seasonal creations like the new Caramel Apple Empanada Chiller – a creamy frozen drink blended with pieces of the beloved dessert. This limited-time treat will be available at Live Más Café locations in Chula Vista, San Diego, and UC Irvine.
While the menu at the new location is still somewhat of a mystery, we know that the Chula Vista café also serves food: from classic tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos to newer favorites such as the Cravings Value Menu and Cantina Chicken Menu.
