Are you ready for it? Taylor Swift is inviting us all to an epic album release celebration on the big screen. The event is called Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, and of course, it lands on October 3 – the exact day her brand-new album The Life of a Showgirl goes live. Classic Taylor move.
Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl – what to expect
Picture her famous “secret sessions”, but leveled up for an entire theater crowd. The main attraction is the very first music video from the album, The Fate of Ophelia. Alongside that, fans will get behind-the-scenes clips from the shoot, lyric videos for other tracks, and Taylor’s own thoughts on what inspired her new songs.
When and where can you watch?

The event runs October 3 – 5 in theaters nationwide. Every AMC location (all 540 of them) is on board, plus chains like Regal and Cinemark. Screenings all kick off at 3 PM on release day (of course). Don’t stroll in late! There won’t be any previews or ads.
It certainly seems like we have a new lucky number for this era, and it’s officially time to say goodbye to 13. Tickets are going for $12 (before fees), a nod to this being her 12th album with 12 tracks. They’re already available at amctheatres.com and releasepartyofashowgirl.com.
Concert vibe, movie style
Unlike a standard movie night, this one’s designed for full fan energy! AMC has confirmed singing and dancing are welcome – and encouraged by Taylor herself – as long as there’s no climbing on seats or blocking aisles.
This amazing party follows the record-breaking success of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (2023), which made history as the highest-grossing concert film ever. It pulled in $181 million in North America alone…even without daily showings.
