Great news for those who love Mexican food, drinks, and good music (do we see everyone’s hands up?!) . Tequila & Taco Music Festival returns to San Diego this April at Del Mar! It will take place on Saturday, April 26 and will be headlined by the legendary Timbaland and B.o.B.
Tequila & Taco Music Festival
The name is pretty self explanatory, so you probably get what you can expect. It will be a day filled with various delicious tacos, an assortment of Margs and tequila, and great music.
The tickets are already up for sale, and depending on what you’re looking for, you’ve got a couple of options.
For example, if you love your tequila and are interested in discovering new ones, check out the Tequila Experience. It guarantees entry to the festival and 6 tastings . You also get to keep the little cup as a souvenir! The sampling takes place between 2 – 6 PM.
If you’d like to have a Margarita waiting for you at the entry gate – and let’s be honest, who doesn’t? – go for the Margarita Experience. This ticket has to be purchased in pairs, so bring a buddy that loves Margs just as much.
There’s also a VIP Experience available, offering you express entrance, a Margarita at the gate, access to a VIP lounge with share and VIP bathrooms, a special bar with exclusive cocktails and…a souvenir taco hat!
The general entry ticket is $44.99, + $7.99 fee.
Hurry up! Most Early Birds are sold out. You can grab your tickets here.
P.S. the Margarita Pack for friends is by far the most affordable choice – so grab your friends, and get access + a drink for just $27 per person (tax included).
The entertainment
Us San Diegans know that when the sun shines, you’re enjoying a delicious taco, and have a Margarita in your hand…it’s pretty hard not to have a great day, already. But music, as always, makes everything better.
B.o.B.’s career started in 2026, but the world got to see him shine a couple of years later, with the record Nothin’ On You. A while after, we were all singing along to Airplanes, Magic, Price Tag, or Both of Us.
Timbaland is a name we’ve seen on our favorite tunes for decades – from Nelly Furtado’s Give It To Me, to The Way I Are and Apologize, or Katy Perry’s If We Ever Meet Again. Timbaland is credited along with artist such as Pharrell Williams and Missy Elliot with establishing Virginia as one of the East Coast’s strongholds in hip-hop.
The festival will also feature Smooth Sounds of Santana, and Adelaide – A tribute to Latin divas.
