Ready to trade that swimsuit for a sweater? It’s almost fall in San Diego! As such, Belmont Park is bringing back its beloved Beachside Fall Fest, transforming the oceanfront amusement park into a seasonal celebration full of autumn magic.
Running every weekend from September 10 through October 31, 2026, the festival offers the perfect blend of SoCal beach culture and classic fall festivities.

Fun & frights at Beachside Fall Fest
The park will be fully decked out with retro displays, creating a cool vintage atmosphere. While you can still ride the Giant Dipper roller coaster, the park will also feature seasonal entertainment, including:
- Diverse characters: Roaming the park are friendly witches, mummies, and towering pumpkin stilt walkers – they’re all ready for photos!
- Live music: Tunes fill the air in the heart of the park every weekend.
- Face painting & glitter tattoos: Perfect for kids looking to add a little sparkle to their mood.
Special Halloween events
If you’re hunting for candy, here’s the plan:
- Free Trick-or-Treating: Every Sunday in October, Ralph’s is presenting a free trick-or-treat candy quest for the little ones throughout the park.
- Trunk-or-Treat Car Show (Oct 26): For the 5th year in a row, the park is hosting its Trunk-or-Treat car show. See over 50 classic cars while grabbing candy at designated stations!
Fall bites and sips
You gotta have the themed treats! Belmont Park’s eateries are leaning heavily into the flavors of the season. Look out for:
- Sweet Shoppe: Fall fudge treats and classic caramel apples with white bows.
- Snackin’ Kraken: Indulgent S’mores Churros.
- Draft Coffee: Warming seasonal sips like Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Apple Cider Chai, and Caramel Apple Lattes.

- $34 Wristband Wednesdays: If you can sneak away during the week, grab an unlimited ride and attraction wristband for just $34 every Wednesday through September 30.
