If you’re starting 2026 sober, with the more-and-more popular Dry January, you may think that going out is not in the cards for you. But luckily, the zero-proof scene has grown so much in San Diego (and all over the nation), that it doesn’t have to be the case. From 0% alcohol beers to beautifully crafted no-hangover cocktails, we’ve got it all. Here are our favorite spots for the best mocktails in San Diego.
1. Good News Bar

We had to start with San Diego’s first non-alcoholic bar, located in the trendy Hillcrest neighborhood. Their menu features functional cocktails and freshly baked pastries by day, and free-spirited cocktails, apéritifs, dealcoholized wines, non-alcoholic beers and cider by night. Try their Once A Day, the Rush Hour or The Wake Up for a shot of adrenaline, without the booze.
2. Polite Provisions

This award-winning, apothecary-style bar in North Park is known for its stunning interior and complex bitters. Their menu is nothing short of impressive, even if you don’t want to drink alcohol. They have many combinations of old-school sodas and floats, like Cinnamon Cherry Cola, Root Beer, Cacao Strawberry, and more. Did we mention that this bar is a James Beard Finalist?
3. KINDRED

Another iconic San Diego cocktail bar that knows how to deliver, even without the alcohol. They currently have a holiday-inspired menu going on, with specials like Miracle Cure, Kiss of Steel, Radiant Dawn (made with NA rum). Even when they return to their regular menu, their mocktails will remain top-notch.
4. Raised by Wolves

You can’t say ‘cocktail bar’ in San Diego without mentioning legendary Raised by Wolves, which always makes sure that their menu features something special for mocktail lovers. Currently on the menu, you’ll find the Bodega Baby (a refreshing tonic, without the gin), Enchanted Tiki, Golden Afternoon, and Time of the Season (black tea Mai Tai).
5. Herb & Wood

Another SD classic, Herb & Wood is famous for their rustic, wood-fired dishes. Its menu takes classic, humble ingredients, and elevates them with Mediterranean flavors. But they also feature a wonderful cocktail list, and 2 mocktail additions, for those who want in on the fun and not on the hangover. Try the Lemon & Herbs, or the refreshing H&W Agua Fresca.
6. Mnemonic Coffee

As the name suggests, by day, this is your fairly typical coffee shop in East Village. But by night, the space transform into a ‘zero-proof’ cocktail lounge with a serious focus on the art of NA mixology. The offer changes seasonally, but currently you can enjoy a Pony Boy (with saffron syrup, grapefruit, and Topo Chico), or the Soy Libre (with soy sauce, Coca-Cola, maple syrup, lime juice and cinnamon).
