Botanic Wonderland Just Added Four More Dates In January

Celebrate the end of the holiday season while enjoying the natural beauty of the San Diego Botanic Garden!

The holiday season is almost over, and there’s no better way to finish out the season than to soak in that warm glow of festive lights at Botanic Wonderland. Spend quality time with loved ones in the natural beauty of San Diego’s gardens adorned with colorful shimmering lights and festive holiday decorations.

Enjoy favorite areas of the gardens in a whole new light, including the Dickinson Family Education Conservatory, Toni’s Treehouse, the Rainforest and Waterfall, the Lawn Garden, Canary Islands/Cork Oak Grove and Seeds of Wonder Children’s Garden. It’s a great way to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with the whole family, and outside!

Sip on a nice warm beverage or grab a quick bite as you walk through the paths of the 37 acres of nature, where you can see 5,000 plant species from all over the world. There will also be festive displays of lighted animals, laser lighting and fire pits to enjoy during your visit. And of course, what’s a holiday celebration without music? Musicians roaming throughout the gardens will provide live music every night!

Tickets cost $10 for children and $18 for adults, with special pricing for members, San Diego Museum Council members, seniors and members of the military. Reservations are required.

Botanic Wonderland runs throughout most of the month, including the following dates: December 2-6, 9-10, 12-13, 16-23 and December 26-30.

The event will now also be open for visits on January 8, 9, 15 and 16 from 5pm – 8pm.

Visitors must wear masks and there are limited tickets per entry interval in order to ensure safe social distancing. Find more information about visitor safety guidelines here.
