Snooze is best known for its delicious pancakes, but you’ll also find plenty of other breakfast favorites like French toast, eggs Benedict, and breakfast burritos. They offer paleo, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options, so everyone can enjoy breakfast the way it should be.
2. Hillcrest Farmers Market

This Sunday market staple takes place in the DMV parking lot (trust us, it’s better than it sounds!). You’ll find around 175 vendors offering everything from local produce to artisan goods, handmade crafts, and clothing. The market is also a go-to for international street food. Open Sundays from 9 AM to 2 PM.
3. Spruce Street Suspension Bridge
This iconic pedestrian suspension bridge is a hidden gem located in Bankers Hill. Spanning 375 feet and suspended 70 feet above Sessions Canyon, it offers breathtaking views and a touch of adventure. If you’re scared of heights, you might want to sit this one out…but for everyone else, it’s a must-visit photo op.
4. Hillcrest Brewing Company

A true neighborhood favorite, Hillcrest Brewing Company is the first gay brewery in the world. Equal parts brewery, bar, and pizzeria, it’s a fun, inclusive place to hang out. Enjoy $2 off all draft beers, wells, and wine during “Hoppy Hour” (2-6 PM daily), and don’t miss their $3 pizza slices on weekdays. It’s the perfect place to soak in the sunshine with a cold drink in hand.
5. Harper’s Topiary Garden
Tucked into Mission Hills, this enchanting garden was transformed by a local couple into a living art installation. What began as a regular front yard is now filled with over 50 life-sized, hand-trimmed topiary sculptures inspired by their international travels. Best of all? It’s free and open to the public.
6. Aladdin Hillcrest

This local gem serves up rich, flavorful Lebanese cuisine in a cozy setting. Influenced by a blend of Middle Eastern and European culinary traditions, Aladdin’s menu is both comforting and exciting. Don’t miss the Lamb and Beef Biryani or their mouthwatering house-made Baklava.
7. Urban MO’s Bar & Grill
Want to visit the Best Gay Bar in the World? Look no further than Urban MO’s, a hetero-friendly gay bar that’s a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Known for its fun-loving atmosphere, quirky cocktails (complete with tiny plastic farm animals), and lively drag shows, MO’s is the place to be and let loose. Grab a seat on the sunny patio or upper deck and soak it all in.
8. Cinema Under the Stars

This open-air movie theater in Mission Hills is perfect for a cozy date night or fun group outing. Featuring a 20-foot screen, HD projection, and surround sound, it brings the big screen outdoors with style. 9. Little Nap

If you’re craving something sweet (or a little savory), this Japanese fusion cafe has it all. From steamed buns and fusion sandwiches to custom ice cream bars, everything is made with care. Try their Hokkaido soft serve topped with mango and honey boba, or choose from a wide selection of boba teas, vegan treats, and more.
10. Crest Cafe

A Hillcrest institution for 38 years, Crest Cafe is a beloved diner serving up comfort food with flair. The decor is a fun blend of retro diner and colorful art deco, and the food is just as vibrant. Think banana pancakes, breakfast tacos, hearty burgers, and vegan-friendly options. Open late and great for brunch, lunch, or a midnight bite. Bonus: it was even featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
