About Holo Holo
Produced by Good Vibez Presents, the two-day event celebrates the deep connection between reggae and Pacific Island culture. Organizers explain that Holo Holo – meaning “to travel, to sail, to move” – is centered on community, culture, and inclusive musical discovery.
The festival has expanded significantly since its debut, even though that was just a couple of years ago. It now takes place in cities like Las Vegas, Sacramento, Tacoma, Tokyo, and more. Holo Holo always supports nonprofit and creative communities across the West Coast.
This year’s SD edition is a special one. Held at the iconic Gallagher Square, the fan-friendly venue in downtown offers stunning views of the city and Coronado Bridge. Choosing this location underscores the festival’s role in reimagining Petco Park as a versatile destination, beyond baseball.
