2. Kate Sessions Park
A picnic spot with the ultimate view. Kate Sessions Park really ups the romance factor with its incredible panoramic views. Sit back and enjoy your company as you watch the sunset on the Pacific. Added bonus: it’s dog-friendly!

3. Presidio Park
There are lots of places to set up a picnic in Presidio Park, but be sure to check out the Arbor for an extra romantic spot. It’s a total win for a lowkey, intimate outing, and as an added bonus, you can watch enthusiasts race their model boats (hence the name).

This spot is an absolute must for a special date. It’s a quaint space with benches and a few picnic tables, making for a gorgeous mini-getaway. The views alone will make your heart skip a beat.

Inez Grant Parker Garden is actually one of the 19 gardens in Balboa Park. This beautiful spot is located across the street from the Natural History Museum and the Rueben H. Fleet. The best part is that this park is rather calm compared to the others in Balboa, making it an excellent option for a romantic date.
