7 Spots In San Diego To Celebrate International Picnic Day

Nothing beats a good ‘ole picnic under the sun with good company – and snacks!

San Diego is lucky to have pretty amazing weather year-round, which means any season can be picnic season. But as today is International Picnic Day it’s the perfect time to break out that picnic basket for another round. Few things are better than a summer picnic. Plus, if you time it just right and you can enjoy the pink and orange glow of those show-stopping sunsets San Diego is known for.

Not to mention, with the abundance of amazing outdoor spaces, parks, and beaches San Diego has to offer, there are countless picnic spots to choose from. San Diego Parks & Recreation takes care of nearly 40,000 acres worth of open spaces, including a whopping 340 parks and 25 miles of beautiful shoreline.

For your next outing, be sure to check out these 7 amazing spots in San Diego!
