San Diego County now recommends all employers in the county require their workers proof of vaccination for COVID-19 or submit to regular testing.
County officials and health workers said the recommendation comes as virus cases and hospitalizations across San Diego rise and the delta variant continues to spread.
As cases continue to increase, officials said the number of testing sites has expanded as well. San Diego County opened four more coronavirus testing sites, and the capacity is now At 6,500 daily tests. The four new testing locations are:

This new recommendation comes just weeks after the county announced it would require its employees to be vaccinated or be tested frequently.
