And yes, San Diego has secured a prime spot on that roster. This is a huge win for SoCal’s soccer community, bringing the world’s most popular sport to one of the country’s most dedicated fanbases.

- St. Louis
- San José

The San Diego Stadium, owned by San Diego State University and managed by OVG360, is already a hub for professional soccer. As the home turf for San Diego FC (MLS), the San Diego Wave FC (NWSL), and the SDSU Aztecs, the venue is perfectly equipped to handle the intensity of Olympic competition. Its inclusion in the LA28 highlights the stadium’s status as a premier destination for sporting events, which is much deserved.
