San Diego foodies, block out your Sunday! The 25th Annual Taste of Adams Avenue is back on June 28, bringing 45 of the neighborhood’s best eateries into a massive, 2-mile tasting adventure.
Whether you’re walking around, hopping on a bike, or catching the free trolley, it’s the perfect event to eat your way through University Heights, North Park, Normal Heights, and Kensington.
Taste of Adams Avenue – what to know
The event takes place on June 28, from 11 AM to 3 PM – that gives you 4 hours to grab as many tasty bites as you can. As the name suggests, is takes place all along Adams Avenue, from University Heights to Kensington.
Tickets are $55 if you buy them in advance, or $65 day-of. Keep in mind that the event could sell out, so we recommend grabbing yours before, to avoid disappointment – and save some money.
After purchasing tickets online, print out the receipt, or save it on your phone. Your ticket will not be emailed to you. You’ll have to pick it up at the the Will Call booth on event day, on 3441 Adams Avenue.
What’s on the menu?
The gastronomic tour features an exciting mix of burger joints, sushi spots, wine bars, and neighborhood favorites. While you’ll get the full 45-stop map at Will Call, here are some of the participating stops where you can grab bites and sips:

- Eats & drinks: Fortunate Son, Smoky Habanero, Una Mas on Adams, Senor Mangos, Sahara on Adams, Paleo Treats, Stehly Farms, Liquid Eden
Pro-tips for your food crawl
Pace yourself! 45 stops in 4 hours is a marathon, not a sprint. Make sure you leave space for your favorites, where comfy shoes, put those stretchy pants on, and treat yourself.
To make the most of the available time, use the complimentary event trolley, which runs the route all day.
Last but not least – watch out for ticket scams. The event doesn’t use digital tickets, and tickets are strictly non-transferable. Only the original credit card purchaser with a valid photo ID can claim them at Will Call.
