The wait is finally over! After a 7-year break, the beloved Chula Vista HarborFest is making its return to the waterfront. Set for Saturday, August 22, this community tradition promises a spectacular day where the bay truly comes alive. Best of all? General admission to this family-friendly event is completely free (though upgrades are available).
HarborFest is back! What to expect
HarborFest 2026 is pulling out all the stops with 2 fun entertainment hubs:
- The Flagship Stage will feature high-energy tribute acts, including performances honoring Coldplay, Elton John, and Fleetwood Mac.
- The Dockside Beats Latin Stage will keep the crowd moving with salsa, cumbia, and Latin pop rock from artists like the Manny Cepeda Orchestra.
Foodies will love everything about this event – especially seafood enthusiasts! You’ll find everything from Tijuana-style street tacos and Filipino lechon to Brazilian croquettes and Mediterranean gyros. Adults can sip craft beer and cocktails at the Waterfront Tap Garden or relax at the Golden Hour Wine & Spritz Garden.

What about the little ones?
Beyond the music and food, HarborFest has activities for every age. Car lovers can check out ‘Ships of the Land’, a classic car expo lining the shoreline. If they want to hit the water, there’s also paddleboarding, kayaking, and even a seal tour.
