The vibe
Their open-air Rooftop Catio is designed as a breezy retreat, allowing cats to roam freely among sunbeams, tunnels, and towers. Sit with a glass of wine, take in the views, and wait for an inevitable paw tap on your glass.
What’s on the menu?
Yes, you come for the cats, but you’ll also wanna stay for the food. Whiskers and Wine offers a sophisticated menu (including vegan and gluten-free options) – it leans heavily into feline puns, but that doesn’t sacrifice quality. Signature bites include:
- CharCATerie Board: A lovely spread of cheeses, salami, prosciutto, nuts, and figs.
- Kitten Tots & Chonky Tots: Oven-baked tater tots, with the “Chonky” version loaded with melted cheese, prosciutto, and garlic aioli.
- Flatbreads: Ranging from the CATprese to the Pawsitively French (brie, fig spread, prosciutto, and basil).
For wine enthusiasts, the bar pours everything from Prosecco and Rosé to a bold Estate Syrah.
If you’re more of a cocktail lover, no worries. Try the Pearfect Meowtini (Gin, elderflower liqueur, pear juice, and mint), the Meowhattan, and the Hisspresso Cattail.

Whiskers and Wine has partnered with North Park Cat Rescue to provide a foster environment for cats waiting to find their forever homes. To date, the cafe has helped rescue over 381 kittens.
If you’re thinking of adopting, visit the cafe, enjoy a drink, and naturally mingle with the cats to ensure a purrfect fit. Sometimes, you choose the cat. Other times, the cat chooses you.
Once you’ve found your soulmate, the NPCR handles the official adoption application to guide you through the final steps.
Beyond the bar – funtastic events
If you’re looking for a unique night out or a relaxing weekend morning, the cafe hosts great events:
- Cat Yoga & Purrlates: Weekend morning sessions (Sat & Sun 10 AM) where adoptable kitties weave through your poses, ending with post-savasana snuggles.
- Happy Meower: Running Tuesday through Friday (4 – 5 PM), offering $2 off all food and drinks.
- Paint & Purrs: Special paint-and-sip classes led by local artists in the company of the resident cats. One time only: August 21, 7:15 PM.
