Spring is in the air, and you know what that means – free events, fun festivals, concerts, and so many reasons to spend time outside. And right now…it’s almost time to head over to the 101 for the 2026 Encinitas Spring Street Fair. Going strong since 1983, this epic weekend celebration takes over 6 blocks of historic South Coast Highway 101 right in the heart of old Encinitas. It’s the perfect way to soak up that springtime sunshine!
The Encinitas Spring Street Fair – what to expect

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26. The fair runs from 9 AM to 5 PM on both days. The best part? The event is completely free to attend. As you stroll down the 101, you can expect to see over 450 vendors and local businesses with booths and pop-ups. It’s a great opportunity to shop local and snag some one-of-a-kind finds, with a huge focus on artisanal treasures, handmade crafts, antiques, and jewelry.
While you’re browsing the booths, the streets will be filled with live entertainment. They’ve got multiple stages set up this year, including the Lumberyard Courtyard Stage, a Community Stage, and the main stage right by the Beer Garden. You can catch local favorites like Surf Birdz, DJ ManCat, Cappo Kelley, and Totally 80’s, bringing the vibes all weekend long.
And speaking of the Beer Garden – make sure you bring your ID so you can buy tickets and enjoy local craft brews while you jam out to the bands.

The fair features a fantastic spread of food vendors and local eateries, with everything from international cuisines to local favorites. The event is also super family-friendly, with dedicated children’s rides, interactive games, and face painting.
Know before you go

As any local knows, parking right on the 101 can get bad really fast during such events. Skip the street parking search and head straight to the Encinitas City Hall lot on Vulcan Avenue or the Moonlight Beach parking lot on Fourth Street.
Whether you want to get there in the morning for first dibs on the artisan goods, or roll in later to catch the afternoon bands and grab a drink, it’s going to be an awesome event. See you there!
