On Wednesday, April 1, San Diego stargazers can catch the April “Pink Moon” during a rare event where moonrise and sunset happen simultaneously between 7:10 and 7:13 PM. Though named after a spring wildflower rather than its actual color, the moon will rise as a massive golden-orange orb in the east, glowing right next to the bright star Spica. For the best view of this unique twilight synchronization, head to spots with clear eastern sightlines like Mount Soledad or Sunset Cliffs.
North Park Festival of Beers

This much-awaited beer festival takes place in one of our city’s most famous craft beer neighborhoods – in North Park, where it belongs. This 14th annual edition brings together over 40 of the best breweries on the planet. Expect excellent pours, live music, and specialty food vendors.

An amazing free community event: Mission Federal ArtWalk

Mission Fed ArtWalk, San Diego’s longest-running fine art festival, transforms the streets of Little Italy into an expansive outdoor gallery. Don’t miss legendary ‘Uncorked: San Diego Wine Festival’ this April in San Diego
