San Diego Restaurant Week returns September 13–20, 2026, featuring more than 120 restaurants across 30+ neighborhoods. This is one of the city’s biggest annual dining celebrations! Organized by the California Restaurant Association, the fall edition offers two-course lunches and three-course dinners starting at $30. Foodies, enjoy this rare chance to work through your dining list without the usual bill.
Who’s participating in San Diego’s Restaurant Week?
You don’t need any tickets for this event – no pass, no coupons, nothing at all. Just visit any participating restaurant and ask for the “Restaurant Week” menu. At all locations, you’ll find prix-fixe menus for lunch or dinner. Some spots even have drinks as a course.
The participating restaurant map covers a wide stretch of the county: Downtown, La Jolla, Hillcrest, North Park, Coronado, Point Loma, Mission Bay and Beaches, South Bay, East County, and more. Whether you’ve been meaning to try a new spot or finally revisit an old favorite, the week gives you a real reason to do it.
Eating for a good cause
This year’s edition continues SDRW’s partnership with Restaurants Care, the nonprofit fund that provides emergency relief grants to California restaurant workers facing hardship. A portion of each participating restaurant’s fee goes directly to cooks, servers, dishwashers, bartenders, and other hospitality professionals. Therefore, every reservation carries weight beyond the meal itself!
Restaurant Week is also continuing its collaboration with Specialty Produce, which will spotlight standout seasonal ingredients. Some Restaurant Week menus will feature dishes built around those ingredients, giving chefs a focused opportunity to lean into what’s fresh and local.
The week tends to fill up fast at popular spots, so booking ahead is the smarter move. The full list of participating restaurants, menus, and dining details is available and updated regularly here.
