Are we ready to party…for 39 days?! San Diego FC and FOX 5 are teaming up to bring us a massive 39-day festival that’s going to turn Mission Beach (and other locations) into the center of the soccer universe.
A huge “Soccer Celebration” in San Diego
From June 11 to July 19, grab your friends and head over to Fit Social at Belmont Park, where SDFC’s “Soccer Celebration” is taking over. This isn’t just your average watch party; it’s a free, all-ages beachfront blowout where you can catch every single one of the 104 FIFA World Cup 2026 matches live. Whether you’re already a soccer fan, or just getting into it for the World Cup, the vibes are worth checking out. Imagine taking in those ocean views and boardwalk energy while cheering on your favorite nations.
What to expect

During the opening weekend (June 11-14), they’re kicking things off with live music curated by Baja Beach Fest, sets by DJ Dynamiq, a K-Pop Club Night, and plenty of local food and drinks. Throughout the month-long tournament, you can also expect special appearances by SDFC personalities, exclusive merch, and tons of interactive fan experiences. Doors open 90 minutes before the first match each day.
Can’t make it to Mission Beach? No worries! The party comes to neighborhoods like Chula Vista and Little Italy, too. You’ll be able to catch select USA and Mexico group stage matches at satellite spots like the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center, Third Avenue, and Little Italy’s Piazza della Famiglia.
As SDFC CEO Tom Penn perfectly put it: “From Mission Beach to Little Italy and Chula Vista, we will celebrate the San Diego way.”
This is shaping up to be the best fan experience this summer. Make sure to RSVP online at the SDFC Soccer Celebration Hub to secure your spot for the opening weekend. See you at the beach!
